J.R.R. Tolkien's character and place name always sound kinda fascinating to me. With no doubt, he is very good name-keeper. But (maybe) there was an object in his book about which he didn't bother himself much to think about its name (sorry Tolkien!).
Okay! A very straight-forward question. Why J.R.R. Tolkien never used any specific names to address his rings? Or did he? Afterall naming such an important object of his novel as The One Ring sounds quite rude, Isn't it! (btw sorry again!)
