So, of the alien species in Star Trek, they all seem to have something in common. For example, the Vulcans are generally logical, and the Klingons are warriors. What is it that humans have in common? Is there an in-universe answer for this, or for why entire species are treated as a culture? What I mean to say is that on 21st century Earth, there are still other cultures, why is this not true in the 24th century / Star Trek Universe?
