For what reason does Padme fall in love with Anakin?

The age old debate.

We're never really given an concrete reason but could it be that it's supposed to mimic the OT in that Padme sees Anakins' loyalty to her and his love for his friends throughout the film.

Are we supposed to assume that their having tons of important conversations offscreen?
