This movie stars a little boy from somewhere in the mountains of America.
One day his brother dies from a (gunshot?) by mistake. As a result he lives with his mother, father and blond sister

His father resented the fact that he'd lived and his brother had died
This kid loves science and invents a (machine?) of infinite energy that never stops and he is asked to go to a university somewhere in America and show them what he made.
He travels alone over the university which was far from his home
