Asimov wrote heavily on robotics but seemed not to forecast military robotics much afaik (but am not an expert on his copious writing). did he? military robotics has "realized scifi" to some degree via advancing massively in the last decade eg with the use of drones in the "global war on terror". also google recently acquired Boston Dynamics which is developing various military robotic technologies, and this is another case of what was previously a scifi concept eventually realized in modern technology.
do any old scifi stories (say older than a decade) seem to relatively accurately forecast current military robotics technology?
looking for other old major/ notable instances of military robotics in scifi literature and/or movies that seem to align closely with current developments.
