Vampires/human farms/vampire entrapment?

Ok, I'm writing a vampire story, and am confronted as a lit of scenarios have been used too much. So far these are the ones that I've come up with:

-A vampire is hung by a silver chain in a hanging tree, later returning as a ghost when his ashes are disturbed by the main character. Initially she hates him, but eventually becomes used to the ghosts company. After a while they look about to see if they can return him to the physical world, during which a group of 'bad' vampires blow into town and begin a massacre.

-The main character is one of many humans put into a human farm by vampires. One night a male rogue vampire breaks into the farm, looking for a human to steal away. He takes the main character, but she doesn't settle with being free, wanting her friends and family to be free too. They work together with a few other rogue humans and vampires.

-Or humans are trapping vampires for experiments and the main character finds that the strange blood samples they were given to work on in college in fact belong to a vampire and breaks into the restricted zone of the college's science department. She finds the vampire sitting in a small cell with a shock collar, starved and weak. He pleads for her to release him. She refuses and leaves but later feels guilty and returns, bringing with her a syringe filled with her own blood which she injects into the vampire. She begins to visit him as many times as possible and eventually agrees to let him out.

Which one sounds less cliché? Also, would it be possible for vampires to walk in daylight or is the burning a set thing?
