Do the Oz movies come from a greater cannon?

I heard a wuite a while back that The Wizard of Oz is apart of a greater fictional universe which there are more than the 2 witches which were portrayed. When i watched the mini series Tin Man and learned that Azkadellia

i initially thought it was the Wicked Witch of the West but i have recently saw Oz, the Great and Powerful where

but also Evanora is always wearing an Emerald pendant and

that made me remember of this greater fictional universe where there are more witches which make me think that since Azkadellia was after the Emerald of the Eclipse i started to think that

but ofcause this would mean that the 2 movies and the mini series actually retain the cannon of this greater universe (if there is)

So i am wondering. is there a greater fictional universe which Oz, the Great and Powerful, The Wizard of Oz and Tin Man draw from? If so do they deviant from the established cannon? and if Tin Man is apart of the cannon then
