Alright so it's been around 6 years since i've read this book but i'd like to know the name, for old times sake ya know. Ok so the things I remember about this book was about some teenager who has a normal life and stuff but one day at his school some strange portal comes on (In the cafetería i assume) and it's this guy looking for the teen, and tells him he needs help and gives him some special tótem, since it's the only way to open these portals that lead to other dimensiones but he has to escape from the main villain so this guy has like a special gift but he didn't really know it until this situation came up. But towards the middle of the book the man helping him gets like mauled by some kind of crazy bubble with fangs so yeah, thank you :)
