over the years, I've toyed with the idea of penning a script for a Starship Troopers movie that is much closer to the novel than Paul Verhoeven's shameful big budget "B" movie disgrace. I started out trying to rewrite the book with an updated feel. My fear is if it went somewhere the last thing I want to end up being known for is ripping off Robert Heinlein's masterpiece. That said, with todays visual effects and good dialog, it would be a fantastic experience. My dilemma is, I've never written dialog nor Scene headings on the scale necessary for a proper script. Does anyone here have any experience or possibly point me in the right direction? Thanks again
